artist bio
Emily Setelin is an interdisciplinary artist specializing in alternative process photography, metal work, and community engagement through food. Her work explores the ideas behind permanency and the forgotten, the things we leave behind that still exist, and the connections we create during our lives. Within this exploration, she focuses on the crossovers between metal work and film photography and how they can be used to convey immortality, as well as the ability of food to act as a vehicle for connection and change. Emily Setelin is currently living and working in New York, New York.
